Classification of Brown Rice
Brown rice grain are classified into three types based on their maturity degree as follows:
- Whole grain : well-ripened grain
- Immature grain : not yet fully ripened grain
- Dead grain : not ripened grain
The maturity degree is not considered for classification of damaged grain and colored grain.
And it is only considered either to have damage on the grain or not.
