Germ-polished rice

Germ-polished rice (Embryo-remaining rice) is rice from which the bran layer has been removed from brown rice. The germ remains, but the bran layer has been removed, so the nutrients of the germ remain even though it is less hard to eat.
Compared to polished rice, vitamin B1 is about 4 times, vitamin E is about 5 times, and dietary fiber is about 3 times, which is rice in nutrients.
Among the rice with embryo, those with a germ retention rate of 80% or more are called Germ-polished rice.
Germ-polished rice is easier to digest than brown rice and as delicious as white rice without impairing nutrition.

In addition to vitamin B1, germ-polished rice is rich in vitamins such as vitamin B2, which promotes the growth of the body, vitamin B6, which is essential for protein metabolism, and vitamin E, which has antioxidant effects and keeps cells young.

Producing germ-polished rice needs special machines and technics.
Yamamoto has system to produce germ-polished rice for short grain rice.
